- If you're checking out this blog you probably already know who I am and what I'm about. Born and raised in Lilburn, Georgia, just north of Atlanta. Currently being rasied by the wolves, bison, bears, and people of Yellowstone National Park. I enjoy the out of doors, and will be doing so more than I ever have starting April 2010 by hiking just under 5,000 miles from Mexico to Canada and then Maine to Georgia.

Zac Cindy is right, She and your Mom encounted the bear at Montreat around the barn. She talked to the bear just as you did. Were you thinking about that? Funny, but scary.
